The United States should have thought through the possible long term effect when making the decision on dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki.

When taking such drastic measures the United States overlooked the fact that they would be the first to use such a weapon, therefore introducing such a destructive item to the world may be putting any country in harm
Black rain was the precipitation of the left over radioactive fragments that fell over ground zero for hours after the devastating and life changing incident of the dropping of the atomic bombs. With this civilians developed radiation poisoning which lead to long term health defects and eventually lead to a sooner death than their original lifespan would have lasted.

Other than scaring and drastic burns minor symtoms consisted of nausea, vomiting, fatigue, headaches, fever, loss of appetite, loss of hair, abnormally low white blood cells, and more among these basis. Major long term health effects consisted of cataracts, keloids, leukemia and other types of cancerous deceases

The devastation from this massive destruction that wasn't even necessary will hang over the United Stated for the rest of history. There is no going back to the moment of dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We, as the United states have to live with remorse of murder, and for what? Superiority, all that became of us was the reputation of barbaric country that had such inhumane characteristics and morality it was sickening.
